Wisut Arjanawat enjoyed a great season on the Mercedes-Benz Tour in 2008, winning twice and being voted the Players’ Player of the Year.
His breakthrough victory came at the Mercedes-Benz Masters Philippines in May when he finished two shots clear of Filipinos Angelo Que and Mars Pucay at Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club in Manila.
He followed up that success with a win at the Mercedes-Benz Masters Vietnam held at the Van Tri Golf Club in Hanoi.
The 27-year-old Wisut also finished in the top 10 in the four other events he played on the nine-event calendar, a record that led to the Players’ Player of the Year award.
Wisut has not been able to reproduce his tremendous Mercedes-Benz Tour form on the Asian circuit but with a great attitude allied to a solid all-round game it seems only a matter of time before he makes the grade.
